| Custom Orders |
|
A 50% deposit is required with your order for custom orders. We will charge your credit card or contact you for payment of the balance, when we are ready to ship. If for some reason you cannot take delivery when the piece is completed, we can store it for up to two months but payment must be made in full upon completion.

We welcome checks, money orders, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). Checks are deposited and charges are processed upon receipt of your order.

| Sales Tax |
|
We are required by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to charge sales tax (6%) on all orders delivered to Kentucky addresses and on all orders picked up at our workshop or showroom in Berea, KY. Any use taxes due in other jurisdictions are the responsibility of the purchaser or the purchaser's designee.

| Shipping and Delivery Options |

Our showroom and workshop is located in Berea, KY. For regular delivery, please allow seven to 10 business days from receipt of your order, depending on the destination. For delivery to other destinations worldwide, please contact us ( info@haleydaniels.com )
Our smaller products are shipped by UPS ground and sometimes USPS. Larger pieces (furniture) are shipped by common carrier (trucking company) Depending on value of order, size and distance from our location, we also sometimes do personal delivery. The charge for personal delivery is $.90 per mile, both ways. The customer has the choice between shipping, personal delivery or picking their order up at our location.
Note: When a large piece is shipped by common carrier, the truck driver is not obliged to carry the shipment into your home or apartment. And the customer has to un-crate the piece and dispose of the plywood crate. If the customer chooses personal delivery, we carry it in and set the piece up for them. UPS and common carriers require a street address. It is often a little cheaper for common carrier to ship to a business address than a residential address. If your order is be shipped by common carrier, we will advise you by telephone or e-mail.
Shipping charges for destinations within the continental U.S. are stated in the table below. For delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, call for shipping qoute. For delivery to other destinations worldwide, please contact us for shipping charges (info@haleydaniels.com ). |
| Additional Shipping Charges |
|
Oversize, over-length, and/or overweight items require an additional shipping charge. This charge is levied by the shipping companies to cover the cost of extra handling that may be necessary and is listed on an item's detail page, if applicable. This charge is in addition to the regular shipping charge.
If your order has additional shipping charges, it will probably be delivered by a trucking company. The regular shipping charges and the additional shipping charges will cover all the regular freight charges. The trucking company will telephone you first before making a residential delivery.

| Important Note about Truck Shipments |
|
We have shipped successfully, damage free for many years. On larger orders, we build our shipping crates from 1/2 inch thick plywood. When you receive your shipment, before signing for receipt of your order, it is your responsibility to inspect each carton for holes, dents, footprints, water stains, or any other signs that the carton may have been damaged during shipment. The trucking company will reject damage claims unless any signs of damage are noted in writing on the freight bill at the time of receipt. If you subsequently find "concealed" damage, you must telephone the trucking company immediately and insist on an inspection.
Deliveries are almost always made between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have any special delivery requirements, or live on an island, up a mountain, or in a gated community, etc., please mention it when the trucking company telephones. You are responsible for any extra freight charges. You may find it more convenient to have the shipment delivered to your workplace. In any case, you may want to have a friend or relative assist you.

| Return Policy |
|
We offer only the highest quality wood accessories and furniture. We describe them as accurately as possible.
Wood Accessories: If, for any reason, an item does not live up to your expectations, please return it in its original condition with 30 days, stating your preference for a replacement, refund or credit. We promise to handle any problems promptly and courteously.
Custom Orders (furniture):
The time it takes to complete a custom piece varies, depending on what it is, the size of order and our present backlog. We will give you the date for completion at the time or before you place the order.
In our 26 years, we have only had one order canceled and none rejected when delivered. It is our goal to have detailed discussions with a customer before they actually place an order. We are very thorough in helping a customer to understand all the details ( wood, finish, design) of the piece they are ordering as well as our cancelation policy.
Please note; we are not a large corporation, we are a small custom furniture shop. When an order for a custom piece is placed, we require 50% of total price. If an order is canceled before the wood and other materials is purchased, we will refund 90% of your payment. If the materials has been purchased and order canceled, we refund 75% of your payment. If we have begin work on the piece or it is finished and your order is canceled, we will return 30% of your down payment. Very large jobs are treated differently, details being discussed and agreed upon at the time the order is placed.

| Haley-Daniels furniture is inspired by Shaker, Mission, and Arts & Crafts styles. We believe in simple, functional furniture meticulously crafted with quality materials. We take great pride in the selection of the wood and the time-consuming placement and matching of grain and color. We work in a variety of maples, (ambrosia, curly, birdseye, and quilted maple), as well as cherry, walnut, bubinga, and ash are the woods we most often work in.
Our portfolio showcases a variety of projects we have completed; but Haley-Daniels is not limited to the styles and pieces you may view on this site. The customer’s ideas or sketches are always welcome. With a basic idea, we can help the customer with the design and right wood selection for that special piece.
