Seating Material options

The seating material desired and chosen by 95% of our customers is 5/6 oz. chrome tanned leather. The full hides are sliced into 5/8 inch wide strips, and then the raw edges are painted black. Before the leather is woven on the frame, we wrap a layer of 2 inch wide seatbelt material from front to back on the frame. We then place a layer of firm foam on top of the seatbelt material before weaving the leather strips around the frame, top and bottom. With this method, the finely woven leather will give you many years of wear and beauty. Our hand-woven leather seats gives you a rich look that fits into more home decors than any other seating material available. Leather is a true representation of comfort, strength and beauty.

The following colors are available: burgundy, chocolate, medium brown and black.

 We also offer shaker tape for seating material option in colors of navy, teal blue, maroon, olive green, beige, natural and black. Shaker tape is a 5/8 inch wide, 100% cotton canvas webbing.

 Occasionally, we upholster some of our seats. The fabric of choice is supplied by the customer.
