Each student will have a choice of taking a 6 day, (Part1) or 11 day, (Part 1&2), class in learning to build this rocking chair. During the first week of Part 1 the student is guaranteed to complete this rocker from scratch except for finish and hand-woven leather seat. If you attend part 2, the second week, you will apply a finish to the rocker and weave the leather seat. Also, during the second week you will be introduced to a number of other valuable shop tips and techniques. Expect to learn about making and using various jigs and fixtures and use industrial size equipment in this class. You will enjoy working in our 5000 square foot, fully equipped workshop!

Cost of first six day class, (Part 1) including all material, wood and leather for seat……$1200.00.
Cost of 11 day class, (Part 1 &2)  including all materials…….$2050.00

The first three hours of this class will be dedicated to how to use our equipment in a safe manner.
